Snelling Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Loan Processor to support small businesses in obtaining financial assistance through SBA loans. This role requires an independent, proactive professional with exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for customer service.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of customer service experience in a professional setting
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude
Other Requirements:
Clean criminal background
Good credit standing
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in helping small businesses secure the financial resources they need. Key duties include:
Loan Management:
Review loan applications for SBA compliance and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
Collect and organize financial and legal documents, such as tax returns, financial statements, and business plans.
Enter application details, conduct credit checks, and verify financial data accuracy.
Client Interaction:
Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, providing updates, addressing questions, and ensuring a smooth application process.
Assess borrower eligibility based on SBA guidelines, including financial stability and industry considerations.
Collaboration & Compliance:
Work closely with loan underwriters to evaluate creditworthiness and finalize loan terms.
Maintain strict adherence to SBA regulations, staying updated on policy changes and ensuring compliance throughout the process.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare and submit loan applications to the SBA, handling follow-up requirements as needed.
Maintain organized loan files and generate reports on loan activities, including status updates and disbursements.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for streamlining loan processing and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
