Key Responsibilities

• Risk Evaluation: Perform in-depth financial analysis of commercial financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and projections to evaluate the viability and creditworthiness of corporate borrowers.
• Credit Structuring: Determine appropriate loan structures, terms, pricing, and risk ratings for new credit requests, renewals, and modifications within institutional parameters.
• Loan Documentation: Author detailed, comprehensive loan underwriting packages, credit memos, and approval documents prior to formal closing.
• Committee Presentation: Present structured loan proposals and risk assessments clearly and confidently to the Loan Committee or designated credit authorities for approval.
• Due Diligence: Analyze credit bureau reports, commercial background data, property appraisals, and UCC filings to ensure proper collateral valuation and lien positioning.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain rigorous compliance with internal credit policies, lending guidelines, and external federal and state banking regulations.

Position Requirements

We are seeking a reliable, self-directed professional with a strong foundation of practical financial experience and a commitment to operational excellence.

• Professional Experience: Demonstrated background in commercial credit analysis, financial underwriting, or related banking and financial services experience.
• Technical Proficiencies: Mastery of Microsoft Office applications (particularly advanced Excel for spreadsheet analysis) and industry-specific underwriting or credit software.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to isolate financial risks, interpret intricate financial data sets, identify root causes, and draw objective, fact-based conclusions.
• Communication Precision: Superior written and verbal skills; adept at writing narrative credit reports and explaining complex financial risks to management and committee members.
• Compliance: Associate degree or equivalent financial training required; must have credit history in good standing and be willing to complete standard pre-employment background and criminal verification.

Work Environment

This role requires a consistent physical presence to maintain operational continuity and credit production standards. This is a 100% strictly in-office position, paired with standard professional office expectations. Because of the collaborative, hands-on nature of risk management and daily loan committee interaction, remote work or work-from-home schedules are completely unavailable. Candidates desiring a remote arrangement need not apply.
