Job Description:

Snelling Staffing has an immediate opening for a Production Painter on in Lynn Haven, FL. This company does prefer a candidate with previous experience with Spray Paint Guns. This facility is regularly sanitized and is following all social distancing guidelines.

To be considered, you must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and:

• Prior experience with various paints and finishes
• Past experience working with hand tools and paint guns
• The right candidate should enjoy craft type projects
• This position does require OSHA Assessment for 3M 6000 Series respirator
• Must be willing to submit to a Drug Screen
• Clean Criminal Record (Prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify you from working for this company)

Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces of products and components by cleaning, sanding, and masking them to ensure proper adhesion of paint and coatings.
• Paint Application: Use spray guns, brushes, or other appropriate tools to apply paint and coatings to products. Apply multiple layers as necessary to achieve desired finish and coverage.
• Color Matching: Mix paint colors according to specified formulas or match existing samples to ensure consistent color accuracy.
• Quality Control: Inspect painted products for defects, such as runs, sags, or uneven coatings, and make necessary touch-ups or adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, paint booths, and related tools, to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect yourself and others from potential hazards associated with paint and chemical handling.
• Documentation: Record and maintain accurate records of paint usage, color formulas, and other relevant data to facilitate inventory management and future reference.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other members of the production team, including supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of painted products
