Position Overview
Our interior design manufacturing partner is seeking a skilled Production Painter to join their finishing department in Lynn Haven. This role is responsible for the aesthetic transformation of lighting products, applying high-quality paints and specialty finishes to a variety of lamp designs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spray finishing, an eye for color consistency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, precise production environment.
Professional Qualifications
Technical Experience: Proven experience working with various paint types, finishes, and professional spray equipment.
Safety Compliance: Must be able to pass an OSHA Assessment for the 3M 6000 Series respirator.
Manual Dexterity: Experience using hand tools for assembly or prep work; a background in craft-based projects or fine finishing is highly preferred.
Reliability: A consistent professional track record and the ability to maintain a steady Monday–Friday schedule.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Primary Responsibilities
Specialized Finishing: Apply diverse paints and finishes to lighting products using industrial spray guns and equipment.
Surface Preparation: Ensure all products are properly cleaned, sanded, or primed before the finishing process begins.
Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and ventilation systems to ensure consistent output and safety.
Detail Orientation: Inspect finished pieces for runs, thin spots, or inconsistencies to ensure they meet high-end interior design standards.
