Job Summary:
The Front Desk Clerk is the first point of contact for guests and clients. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing reservations and inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming and organized front desk environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and visitors promptly and courteously.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information.
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Maintain guest records and handle reservations in the system.
  • Respond to guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Handle cash transactions, credit card processing, and other front desk accounting tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as needed.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure safety and security of guests and staff.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or administrative roles preferred.
  • Consistent and stable work history demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and office software (e.g., MS Office, reservation software).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 25lbs occasionally.

 

Work Environment:

  • Front desk office in an office setting.
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent guest and client interactions
