Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Counter Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our lighting sales team. This role is the first point of contact for our customers, both in-person and over the phone, providing product knowledge, support, and ensuring an excellent buying experience. The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service, a basic understanding of lighting products, and strong sales skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in-person and over the phone, providing expert guidance on lighting products and solutions.

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the counter.

• Handle customer inquiries, orders, and returns professionally.

• Maintain and organize the sales counter and showroom displays.

• Collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely product availability.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

• Assist in tracking inventory, restocking items, and updating product information.

• Provide general administrative support as needed, including data entry and order tracking.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or related fields is a plus.

• Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience, preferably in lighting, electrical, or building materials.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic knowledge of lighting products, fixtures, and electrical components is preferred.

• Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer software.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
