About the Role As a Welder on our Metal Fabrication team, you will play a hands-on role in manufacturing essential industrial components. Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do) As a Welder on our team, you will bring precision and skill to every weld. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Welding and Fabrication: Weld and fabricate metal parts to exact specifications using MIG welding techniques.
Blueprint Reading: Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and technical drawings to ensure absolute quality and accuracy.
Metal Prep: Cut, shape, and fit metal components to meet specific production requirements.
Finishing Work: Smooth, grind, and finish welded components for a clean, durable, and professional result.
Material Handling: Work confidently with various metals, primarily steel and aluminum.
Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-first workspace.
Documentation: Document completed work and actively support ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
Team Collaboration: Step in to assist team members with other fabrication and production duties as needed.
Candidate Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: At least 2 years of proven MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, follow precise technical specifications, and perform basic shop math.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and safety.
Physical Fitness: Capability to handle the physical demands of an active, hands-on production environment.

Physical and Environmental Expectations To thrive in this industrial manufacturing environment, you must be comfortable with the following:
Lifting and Mobility: Lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, with regular bending, reaching, climbing, crouching, and standing throughout your shift.
Work Environment: Working in an active, fast-paced industrial setting that can get loud and hot, especially during peak production periods.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Consistently wearing company-provided safety gear, including eye/hearing protection, gloves, and safety-toe boots.
