Job Title: Front Desk Clerk Location: Panama City, FL Job Type: Full-Time / Long Term
Job Summary: The Front Desk Clerk is the first point of contact for guests and clients. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing reservations and inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming and organized front desk environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and visitors promptly and courteously.
Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information.
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
Maintain guest records and handle reservations in the system.
Respond to guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Handle cash transactions, credit card processing, and other front desk accounting tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as needed.
Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure safety and security of guests and staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or administrative roles preferred.
Consistent and stable work history demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computer systems and office software (e.g., MS Office, reservation software).
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift or move up to 25lbs occasionally.
