Snelling Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator for an immediate temp-to-hire opportunity in Youngstown, FL. This role offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the chance to grow with one of Bay County’s leading construction companies.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18+ per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Position Responsibilities

As a Warehouse / Forklift Operator, you will:

• • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse.
  • Inspect equipment daily to ensure forklifts are in proper working condition and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Manage inventory by organizing and storing materials, ensuring items are labeled and easily accessible.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately for shipping and delivery, following company guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict sanitation protocols and company safety policies.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including unloading shipments, checking product quality, and processing returns.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Follow established procedures for handling heavy or oversized materials, including lifting items up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 200 lbs occasionally.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.

Qualifications

• • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: Prior experience in warehouse operations and forklift driving is required.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly and up to 200lbs occasionally
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Availability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Clean criminal record (case-by-case considerations apply)
