Windows and Doors Service Technician

Pay: $15.00 per hour (3weeks Paid Vacation and Medical Benefits)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am to 4pm (Overtime and weekends typical)

Attire: Jeans, T-Shirt, Work Boots

Job Description:

Requirements:

• Must be able to provide exceptional customer service in the field, respectful and courteous to customers, professional
• Must be a team player, able to work independently, eager to learn, respectful to team members, and able to handle stress in a positive and professional manner
• Must be able to comfortably lift 75-100 lbs
• Must be comfortable working from ladders and not fearful of heights on ladders
• Familiar with reading tape measure and using fractions in math
• Be comfortable using tools
• Reliable transportation
• Stable work history

Job Duties:

• Provide service for windows and doors- glass replacements, parts replacements, adjustments, etc.
• Assist other technicians in field at various jobs
• After learning technician role and parts involved in job, it is possible this worker takes on some warehouse functions as part of job:
• Inbound service part orders, check orders for accuracy, put away orders in warehouse in locations
• Keep track of inventory of orders in warehouse
• (If the technician transitions into this function, it would be that 1-3 days a week are worked at the warehouse and the other days in the field. This would be communicated to the technician in advance and it would take time until this opportunity was offered, as they would need to train in the field first)
